Responsibilities

  • To assist with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. In this role, you will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code, creating testing protocols, fixing bugs, deploying programs and put input on dataflow models.
  • Hosted by in the IT team, you will be liaising mainly with Finance and IT team, helping with implementation of the Information Systems roadmap on a result-based approach with main focus on data warehouse and reporting.
  • Identifying problems and opportunities and ultimately provide technical solutions that help achieve the business' goals.
  • Responsible for managing all day-to-day operational activities relating data management
  • Ensuring all quality checks, data uploading, and data processing activities are completed to strict deadlines
  • Refining and enhancing related processes, procedures and tools
  • Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context of business intelligence.
  • Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
  • Transform business requirements into technical publications and actions
  • Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
  • Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
  • Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI
  • Take care of data warehouse development/maintenance
  • Make essential technical and strategic changes to improve present business intelligence systems
  • Resolve technical incidents & request for improvements

Required Education

Bachelor in Computer Science, Statistics Masters in Data Science or Data Analytics

Required Experience

Maximum of 5 years

Required Languages

English(Fluently spoken and technical)

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced Programming skills (SSIS, ETL Frameworks), Databases (SQL), Reporting Packages (SSRS, Power BI)
  • Proficiency regarding database design development, data models, ETL frameworks
  • Proven analytical background
  • Advanced Office Application skills (Excel)
  • Proven experience with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX
  • Proven experience with ETL (Extract, transform, load) on Microsoft Database Products
  • Understanding of the Microsoft BI Stack
  • Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics
  • Capable of enabling row-level data manipulations and security adjustments
  • Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models in combination with Azure AD and BI gateways.
  • Ability to run DAX queries on Power BI desktop
  • Proficient in doing advanced-level computations on the data sets
  • Excellent communication skills are required to communicate needs with client and internal teams
  • Solid experience in REST, APIs, ETL, and Cloud technologies.
