A new version of the online payment system from the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) has become available, making the system easier to use, including making payments via PagoPA, Italy's public system for electronic payments to public authorities. The new features, introduced on October 21, 2021, make it possible to:
  1. Enable/disable autonomously, and with greater flexibility, the users are permitted to administer the payments on behalf of the company.
  2. The introduction of the Super User profile makes it possible to manage all the online payments, referred to as POLs, within the organization independent of the user who created the POL. In addition, the Super User will be able to generate the report containing the lists of POLs with their relative statuses (inserted, to be confirmed, and paid).
  3. Generate a Payment Notice, which is a document containing all the minimum information necessary to make a payment through the PagoPA platform as an alternative to paying online using PagoPA. The new function allows users to generate payments notices to be used to pay using the PagoPA payment system, through both physical and online channels of banks and other payment service providers (PSP).
The already established PagoPa online system allows users to pay directly via the online PagoPa system. New ways to enable the POL Starting from 21 October 2021, a user who has never accessed the agency's online services must follow these steps to be enabled for the POL system:
  1. Register on the AIFA Services Portal (https://servizionline.aifa.gov.it/ - Register service).
  2. Request authorization from the POL platform (https://servizionline.aifa.gov.it/) - Profile Management service for users already registered.
  3. Wait for the Corporate User Authorization (AUA) of the organization to which you belong to approve the request sent by the user through the Corporate User Authorization - AUA and Regional Approvers service.
If the user is already registered with the agency's online services, they must still follow steps 2 and 3. Generate PagoPA Payment Notice To access the Generate Payment Notice function, it is necessary to create a new POL, add it to the cart, and access the cart where the "Generate Payment Notices" function as well as the two established payment methods (PagoPA Pay online and Generate Bills) are available. By selecting this function, the system will produce a "payment notice (xx) .zip" file containing two Payment Notices, one related to AIFA and one to the Ministry of Health.
